I just downloaded and installed the [C450 OS X 10.6 v2.71 driver http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/SearchResults.aspx?productid =706]. From the print dialog this driver provides a Security menu and within this window is the Account Track section where you can enter your Dept Name and password.
If a user only ever has the one password then you can enter these details in the driver and save this as a Preset, so that they only ever have to select the Preset to print with this ID.
