Go to the midi devices setup section and look for new midi devices. Perhaps you'll have to add it. Casio USB should show up in there somewhere if the driver is installed correctly. I would also download MIDI-OX for these inevitable midi diagnostic issues. If it doesn't show Casio USB in its midi device list then it's definitely the driver. But if I were still gigging, I'd consider getting a road case for the PX-100 and putting it on my rack as one of the primary controllers-and I might even use its piano sample.

This is one of the better sounding models that Casio mido and while it isn’t the best sounding keyboard in the world, it certainly gets the job done. I have a casio px digital piano with midi in and out, a computer with cubase le for sequencing, and a usb to midi cable.

You’ll love this thing. Will Privia PX keyboard work with Garageband? I wasn’t expecting much, but the piano and organ sounds are somewhat realistic, and while I personally wouldn’t do any recording with this keyboard, it is definitely suitable for live shows and is perfect for home use and practicing.

I’ll say it once more: Unlike my electronic keyboard, when I play the Privia it feels and sounds just like a real piano.
