Presonus Forums Daw.one Bcr2000 Mapping Note For Mac
First off let me say a big thank you to Niles from the daw.one website for putting the work in on the excellent BCR2000² preset maps here.
CC1 is a mod wheel.CC messages are different than program change messages, two different animals.

You can change programs with cc's using a bank select and MSB messages, seems like I've seen that done, but program change messages are different.
That was my problem in trying to use program change messages for automation/commands, doesn't work.
Unless you set up a filter to block something, everything you send to the DAW (midi) gets to the synth.

| Hi All, I am slowly making the move from Cubase to Studio One and am looking for a drum map solution. I have found pitchnames and the drum editor but don't see a way to remap midi info. Scenario is I have a GM (or other format) MIDI drum file and want to have it play back in a variety of drum VSTis (each which have different layouts.) In Cubase the drum map could have a different input and output note. I have Toontrack EZ player, but that doesn't cover all libraries such as the new East West ProDrummer which for some reason has a non standard note mapping with no way to change it in the VSTi. Thanks all, Greg Windows 10 64 bit, Core-i7 6800K, 64 GB Ram, RME UFX, UAD Octo, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti |
| No, you cannot. Unfortunately the drum editor in S1 is quite limited. It's basically a piano roll with pitch names (and you cannot reorder them..). I hope they will work on it at some point. | That's a pretty big bummer. Seems like a midi plug in could probably accomplish the same thing. I wonder if 3rd party plugins can be used for the note fx. Thanks for the reply. Windows 10 64 bit, Core-i7 6800K, 64 GB Ram, RME UFX, UAD Octo, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti |
